BioTapestry Version 7 Now Released!

BioTapestry Version 7.0.0 has just been released! Download it or try it via Java Web Start at http://www.BioTapestry.org/

The biggest change to the software should not even be noticeable by users of the BioTapestry Editor, but the BioTapestry Viewer now runs as a web application directly in your web browser! For example, here is a just-published network that uses the new Viewer:

BioTapestry's architecture was extensively changed to allow it to support both the new Viewer while still supporting the popular desktop Editor. But even if you are not going to host a GRN model over the web, Version 7 has several other compelling new features:

* Significantly improved Parallel Paths Display
* Improvements to SIF and CSV importing
* New auto-layout target strategies
* Better efficiency for auto-layout of large networks
* New "Select Upstream and Downstream" feature
