[Posting here since I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature]

I just noticed on the following post that multiple answers were "checked" as accepted:

http://www.biostars.org/post/show/43254/building-gene-regulatory-networks-from-literature/

Is this functionality an intended behavior of the new system?

Best regards,
Casey

OK, sorry for not seeing this (closed) issue on the tracker.

Personally, I don't think this is how the system should be set up, and would prefer to see one answer as "accepted".

How do other members of the community feel about this issue?

Best regards,
Casey

Well I don't really know what others think but I always felt a tension
in having to pick one and only one.

If a better answer comes along then one has to take it away from one
person and give it to another.

My thinking was why not just reward all really good answers...

Seems like a feature to me. Sometimes two or more people each
contribute part of the solution. Why not mark them both as accepted
and correct answers?

I agree,

Often a question has multiple related components covered by multiple
answers or a single question has multiple good answers...
