About the session
This 21-day Virtual Internship, conducted by Biosrishti (a Registered Educational Service Organisation), offers a structured and hands-on learning experience tailored for students and early-career researchers with an interest in microbial genomics and computational biology.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for microbial genome analysis.
Who Can Participate?
Life sciences students (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Tech) / scholars / faculty from any branch can participate as the session.

Supports academics by interactive learning through online mode with an interdisciplinary approach covering virtual online lab sessions and enabling students to identify their skill sets and employ them effectively.
Will be able to execute in silico based data along with the wet lab data derived from your academic projects.

Fundamentals of microbial genomics
Genome databases and repositories
Tools and pipelines for genome annotation, comparative genomics, and phylogenetics
Basic and advanced techniques in genome assembly, gene prediction, and functional annotation
Case study / projects using publicly available datasets
