I am using my new MacBook Pro but I can't seem to get rid of the Dell thing (still have a dell but not using it at this moment.) I am very frustrated with my Macbook pro which is reported to be so easy but is bringing me to tears every time I try to do something.

Thanks Guys, but my finder sidebar doesn't look like that. I must have the finder misconfigured. It doesn't even list "photos" just pictures and there are no submenus. After reading these two messages I tried to figure out how to reconfigure it, tried sliding my photo icon up into the sidebar but that didn't work. I have a lesson coming "one-to-One" in two weeks, but I just don't get why I can't figure this out. Had a mac years ago and it was so easy.

I am currently trying to import videos from my phone though it is taking me a long time. I can't tell how far along it is unless its the slide bar in the upper left had corner. All this makes me feel so stupid.

Once spatial video capture is enabled in Settings, users can leverage the advanced camera systems on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to capture their favorite moments in three dimensions. Spatial videos are captured in 1080p at 30 frames per second in standard dynamic range. With advanced computational videography techniques and HEVC compression, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max deliver stunning spatial memories in a compact file size.1

Capturing spatial videos on iPhone is as easy as capturing regular videos on iPhone: With the Camera app open in Video mode, rotate iPhone to landscape orientation, tap the spatial video icon, and then tap record. iPhone starts recording video from both the advanced Main and Ultra Wide cameras, and scales the field of view from the Ultra Wide camera to match that of the Main camera, which is then saved into a single video file.

On iPhone and other devices, spatial videos appear as regular, 2D videos and can be watched or shared just like any other video using apps like Messages. Users can find all of the spatial videos they capture within a new Spatial album in the Photos app, and all of their spatial videos will sync across their devices with iCloud.

Spatial videos come to life on Apple Vision Pro. With iCloud, users will be able to access their entire library in the Photos app and view their videos at life-size scale with brilliant color and spectacular detail. On Apple Vision Pro, spatial videos can be played back in a window or expanded into an immersive view that transports users back to each moment in time, like a celebration with friends or a special family gathering.

Spatial video capture on iPhone arrives ahead of the debut of Apple Vision Pro, so iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users can begin capturing moments with family and friends to enjoy on Apple Vision Pro from day one.

Out of the blue my photo and video library has disappeared from my dropbox on MacBook Pro. I get the last three months (Aug/July/June) and nothing more. I need to have constant access to my library of photos but they seemed to have disappeared. All the photos are there on my iPad and Samsung phone but not on my MacBook Pro (2015 version). I have contacted Dropbox but not got any satisfactory response so far. Any suggestions?

(2) If I try to open any other photos or videos it says Zero Bytes and will not open. I have not deleted any photos or videos so cannot understand why anything older than 3 months is showing as Zero Bytes.

I don't know if my dropbox folder is located in the Cloud Storage - but I don't think it is as cloud storage says that back up and sync is no longer available - but that has been the case since 2022 so I don't think that is the problem as I had access to all my files until a few days ago.

I have been trying to send the photos. First I compressed them - no good (file sizes still too big) then I converted them to pdfs no good would not accept them. How can I send them to you? Links also no good to send.

No it doesn't but cloud storage is greyed out so presumably I do not currently have access to it. I also have an image in my banner menu of a cloud with an exclamation mark - meaning it is not operating.

There are a number of problems I am having. (1) No pictures or videos over 3 months old are appearing in my dropbox gallery. (2) Two pictures I uploaded yesterday are now dated Nov 2010 and Jan 2009 - they appear immediately before June 2023. I can find my previous photos in Finder but they appear as small icons running along the bottom (like a preview) rather than as fully fledged images which they were before.

Spoiler alert: the new M3 MacBook Air can indeed handle my workflow, which includes editing 4K videos on Final Cut Pro, editing photos in Adobe Lightroom, and typing words into a CMS on Safari, usually with Slack and Spotify running in the background.

This 15-inch model weighs 3.3 pounds, which is 1.6 pounds lighter than the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It may not sound like a lot, but if you walk 12,000 steps a day with your laptop in a backpack along with camera gear, every pound cut matters. My backpack immediately felt lighter when I took out the 16-inch Pro and swapped it with the 15-inch Air. Even the backpack straps do not dig into my shoulders as much.

Of course, there are creative professionals whose workflow are more complicated than mine, like a 3D graphics artist, or a professional videographer who edits 8K video, or do major color grading to LOG files. For them, they may still need the MacBook Pro. But for the majority of people, the Air really is enough.

Charging can be done via either of the two USB-C ports, and the MagSafe port. The laptop charges at a maximum speed of about 70W. Those two USB-C ports can now also output to two external monitors, which previous M-powered MacBook Airs could not.

Ever wondered how simple it is to download videos from YouTube now? If you're an Apple user, you might have faced various restrictions when downloading videos. We're here to make your life easier with a unique opportunity.

Typically, files are saved in your operating system's "Download" folder. This is the default location for Mac OS, Windows, and Linux. Browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Brave use this default folder.
