Mage's Manor is a spooky hide and seek-style minigame map with special and unique mechanics and features. There are two teams the ghosts (the hiders, which goal is to hide in the dark and avoid ghosts) and mages (seekers, which goal is to find as many ghosts as possible)
its not just on pripyat, on some other maps too the blocks dont seem to match the actual map, it usually tends to be different leaf choices. i think if the block choices fit the maps better, instead of always being oak leaves, it would be a lot more immersive and a bit more of a challenge for the seekers, rather than immediately spotting hiders due to them not fitting in. its the same with different types of wood stairs too.
Well I played Pripyat yesterday and you know what? I was the last but one to be found. And the last hider is also oak leave and I found it when there is 1min left.
On other maps I sometimes also choose oak leave such as China Town, I did this once and I got caught when there are 6 hiders.
Though I like running around, that two rounds I just keep hiding until I was found.
There are a lot of places to hide on this map, which means it is one that is tough for the seekers! It's great fun though even if it is one of the trickier maps that you will come across that support the Hide and Seek mode.
This is the same for when the hider dies, however Anywhere it says "Seeker" it will say hider, and anywhere it said hider, it will say seeker
To sum it up, I need to detect when the player dies, and if the now dead player was the hider or the seeker...
The game is essentially a block versio of the classic hide and go seek. Each game there is one seeker, whose goal it is to find and kill all the hiders. The hiders' goal is to hide as a block and survive.
Players can queue to be a seeker in the pre-game lobby. Seekers are equipped with a diamond sword and armour, and must seek out and kill the hiders. Killed hiders respawn as seekers, and the game ends with a seeker win once all the hiders are dead.
Blocks can be purchased using tokens from Ninja Nick in the Hide and Seek section of the main hub. Once a block is purchased, it stays with the player forever. A purchased block can then be selected in the pre-game lobby as the block that the player hides as. Certain blocks cannot be selected for certain maps e.g. ice blocks on ice maps.
Pocket Edition has an entire website dedicated to its map-making community. Numerous maps showcasing different genres can be found and downloaded, including parkour, puzzles, and especially hide & seek maps.
This map essentially puts players in the middle of a huge kitchen. They can use kitchen utensils and furniture such as refrigerators, cupboards, sinks, and ovens to hide. The map can be enjoyed with 2 or more players, with at least one playing the role of a seeker.
This map is named after its creator, Jackson a.k.a. Bad_Trombonist06. The map features a huge area for hide & seek. Seekers are given two minutes to find and eliminate the hidden player(s).The latter are disguised as armor stands.
This map puts players into an open, wooded area resembling an oak forest with a grassy biome close by. Pliers are given a small grace period in which they can run and find a sport to hide, after which the seeker will be released.
This hide-and-seek map puts players in a huge mansion, which has elements of a Woodland mansion and a zombie village. Seekers must traverse the mansion in search of hidden players. If the former succeeds in finding a hiding player, that player then helps in finding other ones.
Pac and Mike's channel was originally a minecraft channel that hosted minecraft mini events between youtuber friends, Cellbit being the only one that is in the QSMP right now. There were lots of maps that they played in during the old times, including Cellbit's room, a generic school and etc. (There are actually 100+ hide and seek videos)
Due to the maps they used to play being pretty open usually, the places they used to hide were inside figures of the scenario they were playing in, just like they did in the hide and seek event in the QSMP.
The gameplay mechanics of the old hide and seek events hosted by Pac and Mike in their channel were pretty straight forward and similar to the ones used in the QSMP event, but with (usually) no mods at all. The hunters needed to kill the hiders, who were be spread around the map in a certain amount of time (usually 10 minutes). Close to the end of the time the hunters had to launch fireworks to the sky to make the hunters find them easier (mainly because if the hiders hid somewhere really hard to find it would probably ruin the content and fun of the other players).
Hide and SeekObjectiveIf you are a hider, you pick a block and hide in the map. Don't let the seeker find you! But, if you are a seeker, find the hiders by punching blocks!Top PlayerKIGJONNYHide and Seek is a very popular minigame added to the HiveMC in 2013. It involves you disguising as a block and hiding in a map, and 1 seeker trying to find you by hitting blocks. If a seeker hits you, you will be revealed and you have to run away!
