I opened my file in writer and it was full of symbols like hashtags. All my text was gone, what can I do?
I tried looking for previous versions but there were none, even though I had been saving the file and working on it for days.
Hashtags started as a way to search for things on Twitter. They're now cross-platform and multi-purpose, used by companies and individuals alike for pretty much everything. From major global events like The #WorldCup Final and #SuperBowl, to expressions of solidarity like #MeToo and #BlackLivesMatter.
From finding the best hashtags for your marketing campaigns to tracking post performance, hashtag tracking tools will help you analyze your strategy effectively, and boost your social listening strategy.
Why? Because social media users search for relevant content by using hashtags. Each of the hashtag tracking tools I've listed below, explains how to use each tool for hashtag analysis. For instance, how to analyze hashtags on Twitter, how to analyze trends on Twitter, etc.
Tools to help you track hashtags in real time come in many shapes and sizes with some that focus on monitoring the conversation, others that focus on influencers, and still others that help you understand exactly what hashtags mean.
Socialert is an easy to use tool for hashtag tracking that gives you a quick overview of hashtag performance for free. Enter a hashtag, keyword, @mention, accounts which the tool then uses to generate an automatic report so you can start digging into social media platforms like Twitter. More than just hashtag tracking or keyword analytics, you can also use Socialert for event tracking, brand monitoring and tracking competitors.
In the free version, you can instantly see the current most popular hashtags in every country and region in the world. It's basically a Twitter hashtag count. You can zoom in and out of the map to get the exact view that you want and the overall effect is visually appealing.
There is also an overall analytics tool, which shows you the total tweets related to a conversation over a period of time, the retweets, the links, etc. Effective visuals, breaks down tweets by type, including text tweets, replies, retweets or tweets with images. You get a free report of up to 2000 tweets from the last 7 days but beyond that you will need to pay. There are also analytics available to find hashtags on Instagram.
This hashtag tool provides a map interface on the home page where you can change location to know more about most popular hashtags in particular location. You can also view via a heatmap, with your own selected time ranges.
By automatically generating and adding hashtags them Blog2Social helps you to save time for one more routine step in your social media marketing to create better-performing posts.
Free and Smart license users have this option enabled by default in their network-templates to set the tags from WordPress posts automatically. Users that were using Blog2social Free and Smart licenses on previous Blog2Social versions still have the option to keep their keyword configuration like it was configured before the Blog2Social version 6.5.0.
For this to work, please make sure that you have set tags for your blog post in WordPress.
The tags you added to your blog post will then be automatically added to your social media posts as hashtags.

With Instagram Lite, you can share pictures and videos on your feed, and upload stories to your account. However, the extra functions, like stickers and other tools, are limited compared to the full version.
The problem: I spent more then an hour of getting the image names, geo data and keywords/hashtags right on Instagram, 500px, Flickr and you pic. Basically i needed to go image by image on all platforms to get all information right - a long and painful process:
Why are you exporting to Apple photos? That is an extra/unnecessary step in the process.
Lightroom has Publish Services that will automatically publish to many/most image sharing platforms. It can even publish directly to Instagram using the LR/Instagram plugin all without loosing keywords etc. - Note it allows custom templates that will convert existing keywords into hashtags as well if you want that.
Well, yeah there is a good reason: As already noted above the OP can't manage keywords in his existing workflow with CC. But Classic is much easier to use for metadata entry and manipulation (esp with some plugins by J Friedl, J Beardsworth and J Ellis). But more importantly there are plugins for publishing too, like Friedl's for Flickr (better than Lr's IMHO) and Instagram, as noted by Dan above.
While this app is mainly for editing pics, it does have a neat feature which lets you create hashtag sets--groups of hashtags you frequently use, and store them, so you can essentially copy and paste them into instagram (or whatever other social media app you post pics in).
The LowePro PhotoSport Outdoor is a camera pack for photographers who also need a well-designed daypack for hiking and other outdoor use. If that sounds like you, the PhotoSport Outdoor may be a great choice, but as with any hybrid product, there are a few tradeoffs.
While the original idea to use the # sign to group conversations started with the chat client IRC in the late 1990s (bonus points if you remember using that one), it didn't become trendy until 2007 when Chris Messina suggested using # signs to tag and group conversations. Since then, hashtags have become the best way to help social media users find related content and conversations.
A social media network is essentially one massive hashtag aggregator tool. When you use the search function to find a keyword or phrase, the results pull not only phrases from posts, but matching and related hashtags.
However, you want to be a little more specific. For instance, maybe you only want to gather posts with hashtags about wildlife conservation to match your brand's mission to create a more sustainable future. This is where a hashtag aggregator tool can help.
You choose just the hashtags you want (more on how to pick the right hashtags coming right up). Then, the tool pulls just those hashtags from your chosen networks. You embed the feed on your website or even at an event or conference. This increases engagement and helps establish your brand as a go-to source of information.
Most social media platforms that use hashtags also provide tools to show you what's currently trending. For instance, when you log in to Twitter, you'll see a list of currently trending hashtags. While that doesn't mean you should use those, if you see something relevant to your campaign or brand, it may be worth checking out.
If nothing else, you may just find other relevant hashtags that work better. You should also look at any social media analytics (within the network's settings). These often list trending hashtags and even hashtags relevent to your brand.
Don't worry about your budget. There are numerous free and low-cost options to discover and monitor hashtags to find what's best for your brand. These help you find hashtags to aggregate and which ones to use for your own posts. A few great lists to get you started include:
You can pick a few hashtags that are relevant to your brand and then monitor the posts to see what other hashtags are trending in your niche. Review the quality of the content and decide which hashtags are right for you.
ChatGPT for Shopify is an innovative AI-powered tool designed to streamline the content experience by generating intelligent content and providing smart hashtag recommendations. Most of these apps have premium versions accessible via a paid subscription but for a level playing field we will be comparing just the free versions and functions of these apps. Professional and power-users will likely need more functionality than what the basic free versions of these apps supply but for your average user they will be more than sufficient.
It does provide an all-in-one solution to your Instagram account from managing your one clickable bio URL with linkin.bio to being able to schedule your Instagram stories on top of regular posts. We also loved it's 'first comment' feature that auto-posts all your hashtags neatly into a comment underneath your post.
If you like to plan your posts visually you might find this app a bit cumbersome as you must first schedule a post to see how it would look it in the grid planner. There is however a drag and drop version hidden away in the mobile app under the 'quick scheduler' function.
The discover feature is handy for finding images to repost from Instagram or from free stock sites. Perfect for those to like to integrate aspirational or moodboard style images into their accounts. In the draft section you can play around with the design of different themed grids before integrating them into your feed.
Planoly's design feels a bit less 'tech' and more 'girlboss', which we liked but some might not! It is definitely geared towards professional users and we found that a lot of features we only available to those on Business accounts so those with personal accounts may be locked out of a number of functions (primarily due to Instagrams API).
