Axolotl husbandry question

Greetings! I had a quick question about axolotl husbandry. We have a
small number of animals that are missing limbs, presumably from eating each
other. They seem healthy otherwise. Is this a serious problem or
something that is commonly encountered? What should we do to stop this
from happening? Should we keep individuals isolated? Thanks. Ramon
