Hi, I am not a neuroscientist but a vascular biologist interested in
smooth muscle cell apoptosis induced by a putative ADAM inhibitor. I am
wondering whether this could act via increased cell surface APP (i.e
because of reduce APP ceavage/processing). Is anyone aware of any
antibodies that neutalise APP function??

Hope you can help!

Try 22C11. Although I am not certain, I believe that this antibody to the
N-terminal of APP may help you.
