POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION

Applications are invited from individuals with a Ph.D. or those who
are just about to complete a Ph.D. for a postdoctoral position in my
laboratory to work on biochemical and biophysical aspects of amyloid
formation in Alzheimer's disease. The position is funded by a
research grant from the biotechnology industry and is available
initially for a period of one year, with a possibility of renewal for
a further two years.

The research involves the structural characterization of amyloid
fibrils and their mechanism of assembly. Experience in such
techniques as electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and protein
spectroscopy are preferred.
