Applications are invited from individuals with PhDs or those who are just
about to complete a PhD for a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr.
David Small (Dept. of Pathology, University of Melbourne) to work on
biochemical aspects of the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. The position
funded by a research grant from the biotechnology industry is available
initially for a period of one year, with a possibility of renewal for a
further two years.

The project involves studies on the glycosylation of acetylcholinesterase
and other biomarkers in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with Alzheimer's
disease.

Applicants should have some experience in the areas of biochemistry /
molecular biology or neurobiology.
