Hi,
I'm a college student writing a research report about ways to fight free
radicals in the human body. My research ? is "What is the best way to
defend against free radicals, taking the side effects of the treatment
into account?

If anyone has any valuable info, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,

I know and are familiar with the gene therapy against free radical, that is,
transfer SOD gene into body to eliminate free radical. It is effective. As
for parkinson disease, free radical is believed to be its main epitology.
One scientist in sweden did so, and the ressult is exciting. Gene therapy
using SOD longens the suvival time upto 3 times than traditional therapy on
rat model of PD. The only problem is the time of gene expression, which is
too short, about 3-4 month at most.

I think it is the best way that you search.
