Specific plasmid gene deletion

Hi everybody, I'm traiting to delete a gene by the method described by
Datsenko and Wanner, 2000. However this gene is part of a 13 Kpb
region previously cloned in a ColE1, Ampicilin resistant plasmid. This
plasmid is not compatible (have the same resistence) with the plasmid
pKD46 where is cloned the Red recombinase. Any body colud say how can
I make this deletion?, or if does exist a construction able to express
the recombinase with a selectable marker different from the ampicilin
resistence?
