Hi, I have an interesting problem:

In the origin of replication of plasmids derived from "ColE1" there
are promoters of the molecules RNA II and RNA I. Is it possible (or
common) that these can promote the expression of genes downstream from
the replication origin? Will that yield a continuous RNA molecule
stopping only at the end of the downstream gene?

Thanks for any help!
