Hi Jennifer:

You can use Savvy at http://www.bioinformatics.org. It generates plasmid
map in scalable vector graphics format. The SVG file is completley
compatible with Adobe illustrator.

Best of luck.

Dear Jennifer

You may want to have a look at pDRAW32, which can make plasmid maps based on
sequence, and/or PlasmidPlotter, which is sequence independent (you supply
the coordinates and data)

Both programs may be downloaded from one of the following sites
URL1: http://www.geocities.com/acaclone
URL2: http://www.get2net.dk/acaclone
URL3: http://www.crosswinds.net/~acaclone/
