I'd be glad if anyone could give a brief explanation/equation about
the following ...

Pl correct me if any of the following is incomplete/wrong


Plasmid = Circular self replicating DNA/construct/Vector that is used
for gene transformation

Cosmid = Plasmid + Cos-site ?

Phagemid = plasmid + replication_site_of_bacteriophge_lambda ??

Phasmid = ??

Any other ~mids ??

[Also please let me know an URL where I could get definitions for
MolBio terms.]
