Hello,
We may set up a hygromycin kill curve for COS-7 cells in the near
future and I was wondering if anyone may have already done this. If so
we would apperciate it if they would post their minimal concentration
for a complete kill.

Thanks

Dear Rover,

I have done this already and find that 200痢/ml of hygromycin B is
sufficient to kill COS-7 cells when grown in DMEM supplemented with
10% FCS. The kill-curve assay was performed using a 2 week incubation
in various concentrations of hygromycin B.

However, it may be worth doing your own kill curve in case your batch
of cells may differ from mine.

Cheers,

Kevin.
