Greetings GenBank Users,

Close-of-data for the upcoming GenBank Release 220.0 occurred on
Sunday June 18 2017, at approximately 5:45pm EST.

The subsequently generated GenBank Incremental Update files
nc0618.aso, nc0618.flat, etc. contain data through the close.

Note: As previously announced, this release was delayed by a week
in order to test a new system for GenBank flatfile rendering.

Note: Release processing often does not begin until sometime during
business hours on the close date. As a result, a number of sequence
records processed *after* 5:45pm are likely to be present in the
GenBank 220.0 release files, even though they are "post-close" .

Similarly, the first GenBank Incremental Update generated after
the close date is likely to contain those same records, even though
they are 'unchanged' (compared to their appearance in the release
files).

We hope to make the release files available by Friday June 23rd.

Our apologies for the lack of advance notice about the close date.
