Dear all,

I'm looking for the best way to safely remove biofilms from tubes. The tubes are made of PE (poly-urethane).

I've seen several reports on sonication for the removal, but in those reports the material is always steel or iron. I'm wondering if the sonication procedure should change if the material is different.

The biofilms are being removed to perform a quantative pcr on it. (real-time 16s PCR)

Thank you very much,
