Help-measurement of Bulk Modulus of Biofilm

Dear all,

 

I am looking for an standard method to measure Bulk Modulus of Biofilm. I did not find any method in the previous literature regarding this issue..

 

Would you please suugest whatever you think would be useful for this type of compression test (in hydrostatic stress condition)?

 

The initial test results suggests to me that biofilm can be treated as a nearly incompressible material (Poisson's ratio of 0.49 N/m^2), this is assumed by some other people (0.5) and others assumed 0.3 which suggest that biofiulm is compressible...I am not clear what value I should use for simulation
