PhD/Job : Marine/Environmental Science

I am looking for a PhD position (marine resource management,
marine ecology, marine science) or a job in marine biology/ecology
or environmental science. Presently, I live in Toronto, but I am
willing to relocate, if necessary.
I hold an M.Sc. in Applied Marine Ecology (Europe) and did my
M.Sc. field work on coral reefs in Kenya. Taught for a number of
years courses such as Biology, Zoology, Oceanography, Marine
Ecology, Coral Reefs and Plankton Studies at the University of
Asmara, Eritrea (NE Africa). I was also involved in coral reef and
phytoplankton research in the Red Sea (southern); coordinated a
monitoring program in the Red Sea. In 1992, I was the head of the
Dept of Marine Biology & Fisheries, at the Univ of Asmara, Eritrea.
In 1991, in the aftermath of the Gulf war, I did an oil-impact
assessment study for Greenpeace in the Gulf.
