Job Description:
We'll count on you to support product development through
the creation of fixturing, tooling, gagging, and processing
equipment for engineering and the manufacturing line. You
will design a broad range of processing tools; apply
mathematical formulas and standard tool engineering data to
develop tool configurations; prepare layout, component and,
assembly detail drawings; create electrical, pneumatic
schematics and flow diagrams; initiate development effort
on new support equipment including necessary machine
control systems; modify tool designs according to trial or
production service data to improve processing or equipment
performance; study specification and confers with
engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems
related to material characteristics, dimensional
tolerances, services requirements and manufacturing
procedure and cost; and process capability studies may be
required. You must be familiar in metal fabrication
processes, fixture and equipment designs, and high volume
manufacturing; good verbal and written communications
skills; ability to work in a high volume manufacturing
environment.
Qualifications:
We require an AA or equivalent combination of education in
mechanical engineering and experience with GMP and ISO
requirements.Must have 5+ years of related progressive
manufacturing experience. CAD experience and training is
required.
