The postdoctoral fellow/research associates will work on projects
delineating the mechanisms of protective immunity against tuberculosis,
including evaluation of cytolytic T-cell subpopulations, cytokine
production and capacity of T-cells to inhibit growth of M. tuberculosis
in macrophages. The positions require experience in standard procedures
of cellular immunology and culture of human T-cells. Knowledge of flow
cytometry and experience with mycobacteria are preferable. Salary is
dependent upon qualifications.
Tyler is a town of 75,000 people 100 miles east of Dallas, in the
beautiful pineywoods of Texas. Living expenses are low, the crime rate
