Dear colleagues,

NAASC members (Jose Dinneny, Stanford, and Sean Cutler, UC Riverside) along with Julie Law (Salk) and Uta Pazkowski (Cambridge), are the Instructors for the upcoming Plant Science Course at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (USA).

They have developed an exciting lineup of lectures spanning a diverse range of fundamental topics in Plant Biology. As you may know, this course provides a unique training opportunity for students and post-docs interested in learning what the forefront is in plant research through close interactions with world-leading scientists, insightful lectures and experimental projects. If you have someone in your lab that has recently transitioned from another field, or have a student who has a limited knowledge of plants, but is excited to learn more, please encourage them to apply.

The application deadline is March 15th.

Funding is available for US and international applicants who indicate they have a need (see more information below). We also highly encourage under-represented minority applicants and others that will bring diverse perspectives to the course.

Best wishes,
José
