Two Postdoctoral Positions
Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions. Both positions are planned for at least three years, with a possibility of renewal. The successful applicants will conduct research on epigenetic regulation of normal development and carcinogenesis. The primary research focus of the lab is on fundamentals of chromatin regulation and RNA fate during normal development and in carcinogenesis, as well as on translating the findings of fundamental biology for clinical applications in oncology. Projects in the lab cover the molecular mechanisms of chromatin remodeling and regulation of gene expression and employ in vitro assays as well as human cells, mouse and Drosophila model organisms.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in molecular biology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, or a related field and no more than 3 years of postdoctoral research experience. Experience in genetics, confocal microscopy, protein purification, live-cell imaging, and genomics / proteomics would be helpful. We will start reviewing the application immediately until the position is filled. The top candidates will be invited for an interview and discussion of specific project.
To apply, please send or e-mail a letter of interest specifying your career goals, CV, and names of 3 referees to:
