BioMercator : new community site, new release, new developments

Dear Community,

First of all, I would like to apologize for the low level of support I can assure here. Some of your questions remains unanswered and I'm sorry for that. I would like to share with you 3 news about BioMercator :

1/ This forum will move on The French Higher Education and Research forge. This new website will give us an integrated tool to ensure a better support. You can find the new project URL for BioMercator here. About the user support, a new forum have been created. If some of your question remains unanswered here, do not hesitate to open a thread on the new forum. To post a new thread you have to create an account here.

2/ A new version of BioMercator (4.2.3) has been released and solve some little bugs that has been raised in BioMercator for a long time now. You can find this new version and the release note on the project home page.

3/ New developements on BioMercator are ongoing. We aim to release a version 5 of the tool. This is the main reason of the low support activity here ! This new version will integrate vizualization tools related to GWAS analysis andwill be released I hope for the end of 2019.

Dear Yannick,

I've been following your work. I am sorry that I can not run new version of BioMercator (4.2.3),everytime I run ,it would show:Error:Invalid or corrupt jarfile. I don't know if anyone else has this problem. Could you tell me what should I do or you could send the file to my mailbox:9655...@qq.com. Thanks for your help!Looking forward to your new progress!

Can you check your Java version ? I use Java 1.8 it’s possible this new version couldn’t be started with an earlier version of Java
