Infos request --MetaQTL

Dear all,

i'm oussama, a bioinformatics student from Morocco. i was glancing on your paper about QTL meta-analysis, and given that i'm working on the same problematic for my master thesis, I am currently working on databases development of input data to use in MetaQTL package to perform a meta-analysis study.

The problem is that, i don't know how to collect data from published mapping studies related to my traits of interest.

From where can i get the data? what data should i collect? how to make the collected data an eligible input to use in MetaQTL? i want also to know if the existing data in MetaQTL tutorial are reel ones? if yes, are they eligible to conduct a meta-analysis study for my master thesis?
