IG_V_gene, IG_C_gene, ... biotypes in biomaRt

Dear Biomart community,
I noticed the immunoglobin genes with a biotype of IG_V_gene, IG_C_gene etc do not have a biotype of protein_coding also associated with them. So when selecting for protein_coding genes these important immunoglobin protein coding genes are not selected. Is this an oversight or is there a reason for this?
