Issue with getBM()

Hello,

I tried to use getBM() and got the following error message in RStudio:

Query ERROR: caught BioMart::Exception::Database: Could not connect to mysql database ensembl_mart_99: DBI connect('database=ensembl_mart_99;host=127.0.0.1;port=5316','ensro',...) failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (111) at /net/isilonP/public/ro/ensweb/live/mart/www_99/biomart-perl/lib/BioMart/Configuration/DBLocation.pm line 98.

Is the server down?
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I am afraid that we had reduced functionality on the Ensembl services yesterday (please find more information below). Everything is now back to normal.

On Monday 20th January between 10:00-12:00 am (GMT), a number of Ensembl services will have reduced functionality to allow for storage filesystem migration.

The following Ensembl services will have reduced functionality:

• ensembl.org
• plants.ensembl.org
• metazoa.ensembl.org
• fungi.ensembl.org
• protists.ensembl.org
• bacteria.ensembl.org
• Ensembl mirrors

The following services will be offline:

• Ensembl Genomes archives
• Ensembl archives from e!88 onwards
• Ensembl mobile site
• Motif viewer and GWAS catalog

Full functionality will be restored after 12:00 am (GMT).
