Dear Bio Summit 2017 family, 

On behalf of the team, I am super excited to announce that we've opened up the applications for the Global Community Bio Summit 2018, which will take place from October 26-28!

Just like last year, the event will be hosted on the sixth floor of the MIT Media Lab. Based on your great feedback and enthusiasm we are also planning to offer the hands-on workshops and visits to local community labs again.

While all are welcome, space is limited, so we are prioritizing active practitioners in the community with an emphasis on diversity across geographic, cultural, ethnic, gender, and creative backgrounds. The section in which we ask for your personal statement is an unparalleled opportunity for you to let us know why we should choose you! Please complete this section thoroughly and thoughtfully as it will be a strong factor in determining your acceptance to the summit. 

The application deadline is 11:59pm ET July 15, 2018 (Sunday). We will add accepted participants to the Directory on a rolling basis, so please apply as early as possible. Our goal is to accept everyone interested in joining the Summit.

In case you were wondering, the next Global Bio Summit zoom meeting will be scheduled soon. You will receive a separate invitation for this.
