Wanted to make you aware of the upcoming Nordic DIYbio Network event in Stavanger 16.-17. February :

Short info about the network

Our Nordic network partners working with «Do-It-Yourself" biotechnology gathers up in Stavanger for workshop and seminar for two days in February. The participants in the network are artists, academics and researchers who are interested in expanding and developing projects related to biotechnology, biology and ecology. The network practices knowledge sharing to introduce increased awareness of artistic practice, scientific experiments and kitchen bench method to pursue their projects of interest. We have previously had gatherings in Helsinki and Vilnius - this time it is Stavanger who will host the event. The program will consist of a practical workshop, seminar with presentations, discussion forums and social events. The event is open to other participants and to the public.
