本论坛是专门针对BioInfoServOS系统所开通的论坛。由于本系统是Dr. Mingwei Liu （E-Mail: lmingwei@gmail.com）于2007年2月在hiweed-linux Final 1.0 (xubuntu 6.06)基础上进行构建、主要应用于日常办公和生物科学研究的一套人性化Linux操作系统。本系统发行标识为BioInfoServOS。
