*** CALL FOR SHORT PAPERS ***

CIBB 2025 - 20th International Conference of Computational
Intelligence methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics
Dates: September 10-12, 2025
Location: Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy.
Conference website: https://www.bioinformatics.polimi.it/CIBB2025
Contacts: cibb...@polimi.it

Short paper submission deadline: April 30th, 2025

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

CIBB is a multidisciplinary forum for researchers engaged in
computational intelligence applications to open problems in
bioinformatics, biostatistics, and medical informatics.
The CIBB 2025 edition aims to bring together prominent researchers
from the international scientific community to discuss recent advances
and future directions in bioinformatics, systems and synthetic
biology, omics sciences, biostatistics, artificial intelligence in
medicine, and medical informatics. CIBB looks for contributions on
current trends and future perspectives at the intersection of computer
and life sciences to foster multidisciplinary collaborations.
Theoretical and experimental researchers are encouraged to contribute
with their latest findings in addressing key challenges related to
applications of computational intelligence methods to biology and
medicine.

WHEN AND WHERE

CIBB 2025 will be hosted by the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy,
on September 10th-12th, 2025. More information can be found on the
conference website: https://www.bioinformatics.polimi.it/CIBB2025.

CONTACTS

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION

Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit a short paper (4-6 pages) presenting
their original research. Paper submissions will be handled through
EasyChair platform and detailed instructions on the submission process
will be provided later.

Main Tracks and Special Sessions
In addition to the three main tracks (Bioinformatics, Biostatistics,
Medical Informatics), CIBB2025 will feature Special Sessions focusing
on emerging and specialized topics.
The list of Special Sessions will be soon available on the conference website.

Publication Opportunities
Submitted contributions will undergo peer review, and all accepted
contributions that will be presented at the conference will be also
invited for submission of extended versions to the Springer Lecture
Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) or to a selected journal. We are
currently discussing this option with Frontiers and BMC (details
forthcoming).
