Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the 2015 X-Meeting/BSB joint conference organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate on this year's event. The conference will be held at the University of São Paulo from November 3rd to 5th. This is a great opportunity to make connections, increase your research network and get an update on the current development of the Brazilian Bioinformatics and Computational Biology research community.

During the event we will have two poster sessions, on the November 4th and 5th. I would like to invite you and your students to submit your current research as a poster abstract. Submission details and deadlines can be found at http://www.x-meeting.com/2015/content/submissions. Adittionally, participants are encouraged to submit a full paper to the BMC Bioinformatics X-Meeting/BSB special issue. All submitted manuscripts will be peer reviewed by a local Editorial Board. This is a fast track to publish your research on a top Journal. Last year's articles were published in BMC Genomics and can be found at http://www.biomedcentral.com/bmcgenomics/supplements/16/S5.
As in every X-Meeting/BSB, conference short courses will be available, this year we will host the “Genome Browser Workshop” ministered by Dr. Robert Kuhn, “Current Methodologies in Transcriptome Analysis”, by Dr. Boris Guennewig and “Key Aspects of a Successful NGS Course - a GOBLET initiative” by Dr. Michelle and Dr. Patricia Palagi.
