Dear all,

Today we will have Bioinformatics Club seminar presented by Dr. Zhiyun Wei from the Neurology Department of BWH.

Title: Potential bias in RNA library preparation

Time: Dec 4th (Monday), 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Place: BTM - 9004 conference room

RNA-seq has been widely used as a robust way to measure known and novel RNA species in a sample. Most commercial small RNA library preparation kits currently select a few RNA classes, rather than profile the full-coverage without bias. Dr. Wei will discuss the chemistry behind it, and options to reduce bias.

See you on Monday!

Best,
