Dear folks,
In the past six months, the Bioinformatics Club has delivered 25 talks to the community, covering various topics in statistics, machine learning, R programming, visualization etc. On behalf of the club, I'd like to thank all members who attended the talks, particular to the speakers who volunteer to present in the club.
Learning is fun. Learning and sharing is even more fun! The Bioinformatics Club is here to help, to motivate each of us to learn and to share. The idea is to put yourself in a learning mood by setting a goal for anything you've planned to study but never get chance to crack it. I personally have a long list of it and found the Bioinformatics Club is a good chance to overcome my procrastination. Things become yours only if you could present/teach to others.
For those who don't know what could be studied and present, I am attaching below a nice set of short papers from Nature Methods columns. They are great resources!
Hope to see your feedback email!
