Dear all,

This Friday morning (11/17/2017), we will have Stacey Duey to introduce Partners Biobank Portal and Research Patient Data Registry (RPDR).

Time: Nov 17th, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Place: BTM - 3002 Large conference room

Note that the time and place are different from what we usually have.

Partners Biobank
Partners Biobank is a large research data and sample repository in the Partners healthcare, providing banked samples (plasma, serum, DNA, and buffy coats) collected from more than 70,000 patients who consented to broad-based research. To date, it has genotype data for 20,000+ subjects and imputed data for 20,000+ subjects - over time, genomic data for 50,000 subjects will be available. See more information here: http://personalizedmedicine.partners.org/Biobank

RPDR
The Research Patient Data Registry (RPDR), as part of the Partners Big Data Common initiative, is a centralized clinical data registry or data warehouse that gathers clinical information from various Partners hospital systems. An online Query Tool allows researchers to explore clinical data through a self-service system in order to assess clinical study feasibility, to identify patients for clinical trials, and to find control patients for previously defined populations etc. For more info: https://rpdrssl.partners.org/RpdrWorkGroup

Stacey Duey
Stacey Duey is a Project Specialist who supports the RPDR, Biobank Portal, and Clinical Image Registry. She has been employed with Partners Healthcare Inc for 15 years, starting with the Clinical Data Repository team and the last 10 years spent with the Partners Research IS and Computing, Information Systems department. She will introduce the state-of-the-art Partners Biobank and RPDR, with demonstration and Q&A. So please come in on time, as the room would be filled up quickly.

If you have a specific question for Stacey, you are welcomed to send to her ahead: SD...@PARTNERS.ORG

Please help to spread this message around, as your colleagues might also be interested. Thanks!
