Dear all,

the IMB in Mainz is organizing their 3d conference on Challenges in Computational Biology - Protein Interaction Networks & Disease.

The 3rd Challenges in Computational Biology meeting will focus on the topic of Protein Interaction Networks and Disease. It will take place on 20th November 2017 at the Alte Mensa, which is located on the campus of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (JGU), Germany. It aims at fostering international cross-disciplinary interactions between experimentalists and computational biologists interested in how protein networks can be exploited to advance our understanding of the living cell. The main questions to be discussed are what is the current status and limitations of related computational methods and resources, which methods and resources are being currently developed, and what are the challenges and developments needed in the field.

Keynote speakers and selected contributors (from submitted abstracts) will present their work on the following topics:

  • Protein interactions and disease modules
  • Protein interactions in neuroscience
  • Integration of omics and protein interaction data
  • Network biology

The registration is still open. For more details please see the conference web site: http://ccb.uni-mainz.de/

All the best,

Ingo
