The Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT) [1] of the University of Oxford offer a large number of fully funded 4-year PhD programmes. Several of the CDTs have a focus on bioinformatics. One example is the "Systems Approaches to Biomedical Sciences (SABS) Centre" [2] that conducts research in "Computational and structural approaches underpinning drug and therapy discovery", "Data-driven drug discovery", and "Physiological modelling underpinning drug discovery".
