Hello-

Hope you are doing well.

There are several postdoctoral positions open in my lab at Institute for Systems Biology. I am looking to recruit outstanding candidates to join a multi-disciplinary team of scientists on projects in systems and synthetic biology. The range of projects include (but are not limited to) gene network inference and modeling, microbial ecology, host-pathogen interactions and drug resistance.

I am especially keen on candidates who possess both computational and experimental skills, have the ability to work independently and in teams, are creative, and have exceptional communication skills.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in some field of biology, computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics or related field. Special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated analytical and programming skills, as well as experience in machine learning, statistical analyses and bioinformatics. Proficiency in statistical and programming languages, such as R and/or Python, are highly desirable.

Please forward to anyone who might be interested in this position.

Interested candidates can email me directly with a CV and a brief cover letter summarizing their interests and experience.

Thanks for your help.

Best,

Nitin
