The MapReduce-based HDT-MR project's [1] source code tree is now
hosted on GitHub under the HDT umbrella organization:

https://github.com/rdfhdt/hdt-mr

This will hopefully over time encourage contributions--bug fixes and
further development--from people interested in using HDT-MR, such that
it can move past its current indicated alpha status. (Pull requests
welcome!)

Kudos to the HDT-MR co-authors Miguel Martínez-Prieto and Javier
Fernández for helping get this set up.

Cheers,
Arto

Thanks, Arto!

What is the current state of the code?

I'm not sure; I haven't tried to compile or use it myself. The HDT-MR
site indicates:

"We provide a first alpha version of HDT-MR source code. While this
build has been extensively tested, the current alpha state is still
subject to bugs and optimizations."

Perhaps Evan and Gang would be interested in a first stab at this, as
NCBI's dataset conversions could potentially benefit from this.
