Text Mining for Healthcare and Biology Session at ISMB/ECCB 2025
The Text Mining Community of Special Interest (COSI) invites you to submit abstracts and posters for our session at ISMB/ECCB 2025 in Liverpool, England, on July 24, 2025.
We invite submissions on the use of natural language processing (NLP) and text mining to address important problems in biology and medicine. We welcome work with novel methodological contributions, as well as practical applications that demonstrate the real-world impact of NLP in biomedical settings.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative Methods: Advances in methods for NLP tasks on biomedical and clinical texts.
- Biological Insights with NLP: Research that uses NLP to advance scientific understanding in biology or medicine.
- Evaluation and Reproducibility: Studies focused on evaluation, benchmarking, or reproducibility in biomedical NLP, especially applied to real-world challenges.
