Dear BioHackathon 2013 invitees and participants,
Invitees, you will receive a mail from our travel agency asking for your bank account.
This year, as we wanted to avoid paying your expenses at the registration, we decided
to use bank transfer for the payments. We organizers are outsourcing the service to the
Prima Tours Inc. So please don't surprise about the mail.
On arrival, please take a train from the Narita airport and/or taxi for checking-in to your
hotel (the Hotel Forest Hongo) by yourself. Organizers will meet you at the hotel lobby
on Sunday morning (9:30AM, June 23rd) and guide you to the symposium venue, Tokyo Skytree.
You'll have some free time for sightseeing and lunch before the symposium starts.

We will enjoy liqourthon again at night as a tradition of our BioHackathon series.
Because the BioHackathon has been hosted by public institutions, we can't provide
drinks by our budget. Instead, we had enjoyed sharing liquors kindly brought by
participants from across the globe. Organizers are planning to prepare SPARQLing
Japanese rice wines for this year. We hope you'll enjoy.
Some recent updates:
* I forgot to inform but our BH11-12 paper is submitted to the JBMS thematic series last week
* We already counted largest number of participants than the past (getting too big to organize?!)
* Symposium poster and the detailed time-line is now available at
http://2013.biohackathon.org/gallery
http://2013.biohackathon.org/symposium
* Skytree visit to the middle level will cost 1,800 JPY (and additional 1,000 JPY to the top on site)
* We'll have a banquet on Monday evening at the conference discount rate 2,000 JPY
* Limited number of BH13 T-shirts will be available on site upon request (about 2,000 JPY)
For invitees and applicants, please bring Japanese cash 1,800 JPY for the Skytree and
2,000 JPY for the banquet at the registration desk on Sunday.
For domestic participants, we are planning to send out a confirmation mail of your
registration by the end of May.
Best regards,
Toshiaki Katayama
