In the third week of May, 2025: Erik Garrison, Enza Colonna, Flavia Villani,
Andrea Guarracino, Pjotr Prins and others are organising the 3rd edition(!) of
the computational pangenomics course, conference, and biohackathon in Memphis,
TN. We will explore the cutting edge of pangenomes, biology, methods, software,
and artificial intelligence (AI). During the hackathon last year we kicked off
the implicit pangenome methods that are in active development today!

Also for newcomers to pangenomes the workshop is a great place to start. Last
year we kicked off a number of new pangenomes during that event!

It will be an inspirational event by and for the pangenome team! We are
expecting collaborators from all over the world. Outstanding challenges are
pangenome driven genotyping, RNA-seq and embedding metadata in the pangenome.
Last year was a load of fun with Memphis BBQ, Blues, large Harleys and craft
beers. May is a great time to visit :). We have a 2-day workshop to learn about
using tools, a 1-day conference and another 2-days of hacking (code).

Note that seats are limited and it is first come first serve.
