Hey guys,
I'll be advising Stuyvesant iGEM team for the next year through my lab Binomica, and I'm beginning simple biobricking and genetic constructs lesson starting late July/August. If anyone here wants to join in and learn about how to put together simple genetic circuits feel free to drop me a note!
Just in case you don't know about iGEM (
www.igem.org), it's a genetic engineering competition where students from universities and high schools from all over the world build their own genetically engineered organisms.
Also Binomica is starting a special promotional offer for people who has DNA samples they need sequenced- free sequencing upto 500 bps. It's not much, but enough to sequence verify whatever you happen to be working on :)
