I use Bitwarden on many computers and would like to see a VISIBLE Lock Now button on the Browser Extension where it shows TAB Vault Send Generator and Settings. Or if there could be a HOTKEY to lock the extension or logout quickly for a quick way to secure the Extension. Could this be considered for a future build? TIA
I think the LOCK NOW should simply be moved up in the sequence of drop downs so it is visible when you click on settings without having to scroll down to get to it. Not sure that would require huge code modification. One should be able to LOCK quickly is the point of my request. Hotkeys do not work with the many different browsers out there. Lock Quickly is what a good security system should be able to do.
Thanks for the replies.
This depends on which browser you are using. In Chrome, you can configure the browser extension shortcuts by going to chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Instructions for other browsers are available at the link below:
The Plus button is inside the Search vault.
what ever they type in the search field will appear anyway on the list so adding a [+] button there will create a new log in with what the user had already type in the search bar automatically as the Name of the item.
Depending on the template such as Avenue you can password an index page in 7.0 or any page in that index as well. Some templates such as Brine, which is the inspiration for 7.1 will not allow pages in an index to be password protected.
Thanks for the quick reply. I understand it's not an available feature but I'm seeing over 7 threads requesting password functionality for portfolio pages in Squarespace. Is this something the Squarespace dev team can prioritize?
I was told by dev support that it wasn't a prioritized enhancement but here are the threads I've found from Squarespace users from the last year to show you the interest in this. It would be a shame if all of these people moved to another platform if this functionality - that exists on other pages - can't be replicated to portfolio pages.
I keep seeing Squarespace's response as linking to this password page, which doesn't apply to the portfolio pages. In fact, this page says it's not available so please stop directing us there. Can you please add this to the Squarespace enhancement roadmap?

Having the same exact issue. Just spent 5 months creating a portfolio in 7.1 only to realize that I can't password protect individual portfolio pages. Really hoping that months of work hasn't been in vane because some client work can't be public. Does anyone have a workaround?
If I can't figure out a work around to this, and soon, it will be the reason I move to another platform. As with so many other creators I have a lot of work that can't be freely available online, but that is an essential part of my portfolio. Disappointed that such basic functionality does not exist and nothing has been done about it.
I followed these instructions, but when I click on my portfolio project, it still brings me to the project page and does not redirect to the password protected page. I have additionally tried using the URL mapping section of Squarespace settings to redirect the page, and nothing.
YO! yes need individual project password capability. Seems like a simple feature to add no? Some work by designers and artists are confidential but need to share limitedly to make a living. thanks. would be great to get this feature ASAP!
UPDATE One way around on this is to create a separate "Not linked" page. this can be password protected. However, you can't direct them through the image block in your gallery/portfolio page but you can add a landing page which can say the confidentiality of this project and add a button that will link to the "not linked" page you created.
Hi! I'm having this issue right now. Does any one knows if it has been fixed? I really need to lock a specific proyect ASAP but be able to still see it as part of the portfolio grid in the landing page!
You helped me this week with this portfolio, so note that the global CSS on the photography page has been edited to make the portfolio items come up as 4x3 - not sure if that changes anything for layout of the new page, or if I would have to code that into the CSS as well so the layouts match.
I was experimenting with how to create a vertical liquid lock (or superior water lock as it is called in the wiki) and all suggestions and tutorials I found involved a lot of mopping near the place where you build the lock. Which I don't really like.
All i want is a way to hold the focus on the one frame until i say so. It would make life so much easier especially during meetings where changes are requested on the spot and the test device will then switch between too many different items which ends up distracting the stake holders. So much pain!
Just googled this, and presumed it was not possible. I have the same issues, am flicking between assets and in and out of the Design Library. I just want Mirror to lock to the Frame I am working with, I find it gets stuck and then I have to restart constantly.
For me designing and seeing in real-time how the product is functioning and instantly interacting with it makes a huge difference for me, and many other designers that use a similar method, I believe.
The mirror feature is great, but we really would appreciate the possibility to fix it on a specific frame, so I can change my components without always selecting the frame again to preview the output.
Especially when I click on components in a frame with the intention to move it or make changes. The preview on mirror changes. I can get that. But, very frequently it just freezes and I have to restart the app.
I have a class that implements Serializable and I protect the invariant of this class via a lock object which is of type Object. Is it okay to make it transient or can it have any unwanted side effects?
Automatic (de)serialization will work as expected, a lock will be recreated. It might take a little bit more memory than new Object(), but it should be negligible, and serialized space will also increase by a few bytes.
When you sketch the extrusion, if you make sure the center of the circle snaps to the intersection of the two ref planes it will automatically lock to it. To control the radius, you need to add a parameter. Inside the sketch of the extrusion, add a radius dimensions, and add a parameter to it. This NEEDS to be done INSIDE THE SKETCH to work properly.
I don't think that's a CUDA error but more like the way Ubuntu normally works. However I would like my computer to continue the program even when I lock my screen. By the way, letting my computer unlocked is not a solution for me as I have sensitive data and can't let my computer open while I'm not here.
I managed to solve my issue. I went to "Settings" -> "Power" and disabled "Automatic suspend". Apparently it automatically suspended my computer after some time when I was locking my screen. Now I can lock my screen and my program continue running.
Yea, I can connect the trigger to an item granter, giving you they key, and I think I could also make it so that another trigger, after the item is granted, will send a channel that teleports you back to the safe, where one of the two teleporters are.
But I have like never really used anything about properties (Yikes), so how do you make the counters track a property? Is it just by wires, or channels? I get the part where you hook up the button to the trigger, with that blockcode, I am just confused on the properties and counters part, cause the properties are where it gets too big brain for me
When I'm listening to music on my Android using Music Player, I want to see what song I'm listening to on my lock screen, and maybe even play/pause and go forward/backward on the playlist, but not change the playlist.
By default, the stock player has the player controls in Android. Play a song from your stock music player app (the one which was originally included in your mobile) and play a song. When you turn off the screen and get back to the lock screen, you must be able to see the player controls.
You can also try Sony Walkman which offers a number of features including lock screen controls. You can also use an app like Simply Lockscreen to enable music player functionality to your lock screen.
On your Andriod phone, when you can't see the music playing, on the lock screen. All you need to do is go to your phone settings and enter 'Apps & Notification' click on the music app, tap on the data usage and then clear your cache.."IT'S DONE"... That's all you need to do. It's pretty simple right?
But you should only do this if you don't care about your playlists anymore, cause as you clear your cache it removes all the playlists you've created from your music app and then your songs will start showing on the lock screen again.
