What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. upoad tab-delimited text with UTF-8 encoding to batch process
2. hit "Submit"
3. with both Firefox and Internet Explorer, receive "Error:
java.lang.NullPointerExceptionnull" after 3-4 seconds of uploading,
Green "georeferencing" bar progresses slowly, and all BGM output fields are
labeled, but blank, in downloadable batch output document.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

All BGM output fields are labeled, but blank, in downloadable batch output
document.

What version of the product are you using (see top right of Workbench
interface)? On what operating system? Using which browser (include version
please)? Firefox 8.0.1, IExplorer 8 & Windows 7 & BGM 1.2.4
