Hi everyone!

I'm working in a biogeographical research but I have had some problems with the analysis. I'm doing an analysis with biomes, and in my data I have 14 areas and 36 species, but my computer can't run the analysis.

I think the problem is that the analysis is too robust for my computer because of the number of areas and because some of my species are in 13 areas and 1 of the species is in all areas. So, is this analysis feasible? Can I try to run the code on a more powerful computer or should I do another regionalization?

Thank you so much!
Dora

Hi -- 12 areas is the biggest I've ever successfully run (with max areas also 12), *maybe* with heaps of RAM on a new computer you could do 13, but the scaling is really bad.  It is far less painful to merge a few areas, and/or constrain the max_areas.

Cheers,
Nick
