Incorporating unresolved fossils

Hello,

I am running BGB with a group that has good fossil representation, and it would be important to include fossil occurrences in the biogeographic analyses.

Unfortunately, it's infeasible for me to do any tip-dating, so the fossils can only be constrained to clades, and usually only to total groups (i.e., there's not enough information to constrain them specifically to crown or stem groups).

I see that there is a potential way to do this, but that there's no tutorial currently. Has anyone used this method and could share the details?
