to BioGeoBEARS
Hi everyone!
I am working on a trait-dependent dispersal analysis with the description of Klaus and Matzke, 2020. In my data I have 36 species and 10 areas, and two binary traits.
I ran the BioGeoBEARS standard models and my best model is DEC without stratification and without multipliers, so now I want to run the trait-dependent dispersal analysis for my best model, but I have a question about it. In the "fast example" of the supplementary information of the article, the code has the DEC model and the DECJ model. So Do I have to run the DECJ model that is in the code to get the results for my best model (DEC)?
On the other hand, is there any way to run the two binary characters at the same time or each character must be run separately for the model?
Thank you so much!
Dora
