Multinomial Logit Model - Unexpected Estimated Parameter Results

Hello,
I've developed a multinomial logit model that estimates a coefficient for time (delivery time of a drone delivery service), but it is coming out as positive instead of negative, as per previous literature.
What checks or validations do you carry out when this happens? Or what strategies can I use to root out the problem, if there is even a problem.
Also, I've run the same database on an ICLV model and the coefficients are negative for some reason.
